THE PENINSULA IS A FOODIES DREAM

Where to Eat in Placencia, Seine Bight and the Placencia Peninsula

Information regarding the restaurants was taken from the Belize Tourism Industry Association(BTIA) Placencia Chapter, and websites and Facebook pages for the restaurant. The local restaurants provide a vast array of cuisines and simply delicious food. There seems to constantly be new places so this is not all inclusive.

Mid & North Peninsula on Placencia Road

~ Inky’s & The Martini Bar @ Sirenian Bay – Inky’s has breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Martini Bar is only open certain night so check the website. Usually has very good sushi Thursday and/or Friday night but check their website for details. There is also a great little mini golf area open to the public and you can ask about possibly getting in on a pickle ball game There is also gym but you will have to inquire if they are offering day passes for a fee - sometimes they are and sometimes they are not. https://inkysbelize.com/ This place is great and just across the street from the house and north a few hundred yards or you can walk up the beach and walk down the lane to the south of the resort towards the road or through the pool area to get to Inky’s and the Martini Bar. NOTE: Serenian Bay is one of Belize’s only all inclusive resorts so when they arE  busy they don’t have the beach side pool area or bar open to the public. You  can walk through no problem but if you sit at the beachside bar sometimes they will ask for your room number and not be allowed to serve the public. The lagoon side restaurants and mini-golf have always been open to the public. This is also where you rent golf carts from Captain Jaks @Serenian Bay. https://captainjaks.com/rental-rates Be specific with them that you want to pick up and drop off your cart from Serenian Bay not Placencia Village if you call them for golf club rental because there is also a rental location in Placencia Village. The Serenian Bay location is much more convenient to our house for golf cart pick up and drop off.
